The Kennewick Lions baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Southridge Suns to 3 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions (17-1) will now prepare for their match against Chiawana (Pasco, WA). The Riverhawks go into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia match with a 7-11 record. In their last match, Chiawana was overwhelmed by Richland (Richland, WA), 5-0, in a league match.
The Suns (9-9) will now prepare for their match against Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA). The Braves go into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia match with a 14-4 record. In their last match, Kamiakin edged Hermiston (Hermiston, WA), 15-5, in a league match.
