North Carolina High School Soccer - Southern Nash knocks off Nash Central

Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Firebirds confront the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A challenge, on Thursday, April 28. Southern Nash will attempt to better on its 16-0 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 6-0 league win over Franklinton (Franklinton, NC).

The Bulldogs now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bunn for a The Big East 2A/3A test on Wednesday, April 27. Nash Central will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Louisburg (Louisburg, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-8.
