The St. Francis Spartans baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Aurora Central Catholic Chargers to 2 in the Spartans league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans (13-6) will now prepare for their match against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Fightin' Irish go into the Metro Suburban - Red match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Bishop McNamara was overwhelmed by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 15-2, in a non-league match.
The Chargers (11-9) will now prepare for their match against Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 4-14 record. In their last match, Lisle was overwhelmed by Peotone (Peotone, IL), 6-5, in a league match.
