Mishawaka Cavemen (Mishawaka, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host NorthWood Panthers (Nappanee, IN), 10-5 in a league challenge.

The Cavemen now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northridge for a Northern Lakes challenge on Friday, April 29. Mishawaka will face a Raiders squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Warsaw (Warsaw, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, NorthWood falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Plymouth (Plymouth, IN) to face the Pilgrims/Rockies in a Northern Lakes challenge on Friday, April 29. The Pilgrims/Rockies enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Plymouth won 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Wawasee (Syracuse, IN)
