In Sunday's non-league test, the Hudson Falls Tigers (Hudson Falls, NY) softball squad overwhelmed the host Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs (Berne, NY), by a tally of 17-5.

Next, the Tigers meet the Glens Falls Black Bears (Glens Falls, NY) in a Section 2 Foothills test, on Monday, April 28. Hudson Falls will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Black Bears go into the test with a 6-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY).

The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY). The Wolves go into the Section 2 Western - Southern test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville toppled Middleburgh (Middleburgh, NY), 29-1, in a league test.
