North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC), 2-1 in a league match.
With the triumph, North Davidson moves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Black Knights host Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to meet the Blue Comets in a Mid-Piedmont 3A match on Friday, May 2. The Blue Comets come into the match with a record of 11-6. Asheboro lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
The Grizzlies now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ledford for a Mid-Piedmont 3A match on Wednesday, April 30. Oak Grove will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-15.
