West Virginia High School Lacrosse - Jefferson County drops to Wheeling Park

April 29, 2023: Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442

In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Wheeling Park Patriots lacrosse squad scored a good 11-3 victory over the Jefferson County Wild.

The Patriots now have a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martinsburg for a WVSLA - Division II test on Saturday, April 29. Wheeling Park will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-5 league win over Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.

In their next game, the Wild face the Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV) in a WVSLA - Division II test, on Tuesday, May 2. Jefferson County will attempt to move on its 0-13 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 18-5 non-league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA).
