Central York Panthers (York, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dallastown for a York-Adams 4 challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Central York will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to South Western (Hanover, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Red Lion falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA) to face the Rockets in a York-Adams 4 challenge on Wednesday, May 1.
