Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 4-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Topsail moves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Pirates host North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to clash with the Scorpions in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, May 1. The Scorpions come into the test with a record of 9-12. North Brunswick lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC)

The Wildcats now sport a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they host South Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, May 1. New Hanover will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-10.
