The Governors (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Altavista (Altavista, VA). The Colonels enter the Dogwood battle with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Altavista nudged Galileo (Danville, VA), 5-1, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Prince Edward County moves to 7-4 on the year. The Eagles host Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA) to encounter the Chargers in a James River challenge on Monday, May 5. The Chargers go into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Lunenburg Central won 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA)
