The Central Mountain Wildcats triumphed over the visiting Danville Ironmen softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) in a Heartland I challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Central Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Seals enter the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 10-0 league loss to Williamsport (Williamsport, PA).

The Ironmen (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA). The Seals enter the Heartland I challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Selinsgrove was routed by Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA), 11-1, in a league challenge.
