Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Springfield Millers (Springfield, OR), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Shasta for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Ashland will battle a Bears squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Bears record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Springfield falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Millers host North Eugene (Eugene, OR) to battle the Highlanders in a 5A Midwestern challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a record of 0-11. North Eugene lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Crater (Central Point, OR)
