The Hancock County Indians routed the host West Greene Buffaloes softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Indians (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Washburn (Washburn, TN). The Pirates go into the 1A District 2 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Washburn notched a victory over Jellico (Jellico, TN), 12-0, in a league battle.
The Buffaloes now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cosby for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 5. West Greene will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Hampton (Hampton, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.
