In Friday's league game, the host East Davidson Golden Eagles baseball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Salisbury Hornets.
The Golden Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their game against South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Wildcats go into the Central Carolina 1A/2A game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, South Davidson was tipped by Thomasville (Thomasville, NC), 14-0, in a league game.
