In Saturday's non-league game, the host Springfield Blue Devils baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Erie-Mason Eagles.
The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH). The Yellow Jackets go into the Northern Lakes- Buckeye game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Perrysburg was overwhelmed by Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH), 10-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles play the St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels (Monroe, MI) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 7. Erie-Mason will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
