In Wednesday's league contest, the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), by a margin of 18-4.
With the triumph, Lake Norman moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Wildcats host West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to play the Wolverines in a Greater Metro 4A contest on Friday, April 8. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 7-6. West Cabarrus won 10-0 in their recent league contest against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)
In their next game, the Wonders play the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A contest, on Friday, April 8. A.L. Brown will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 10-0 league loss to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
