The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. James F. Byrnes lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Chapman (Inman, SC)

The Red Raiders (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Berea (Greenville, SC). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region 1 game with a 4-13 record. In their last game, Berea was overwhelmed by Pickens (Pickens, SC), 20-2, in a league game.
