The Newtown Nighthawks the visiting Norwalk Bears baseball team by a count of 5-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Nighthawks now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bunnell for a Southwest - Colonial bout on Monday, April 10. Newtown will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Law (Milford, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.

Next, the Bears face the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Monday, April 10. Norwalk will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Black Knights enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 4-1 league win over Greenwich (Greenwich, CT).
