The Brentwood Bruins got by the visiting Oakland Patriots baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Overton for a 4A District 11 bout on Monday, April 11. Brentwood will face a Bobcats team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Smyrna (Smyrna, TN). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-6.
Next, the Patriots face the Blackman Blaze (Murfreesboro, TN) in a 4A District 7 bout, on Tuesday, April 12. Oakland will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Blaze enter the bout with a 11-7 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Centennial (Franklin, TN).
