Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Timothy Christian Trojans (Elmhurst, IL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 12. Plainfield Central will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL).
The Trojans now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Edward for a Metro Suburban challenge on Monday, April 11. Timothy Christian will confront a Green Wave team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Our Lady of Tepeyac (Chicago, IL). The Green Wave record now stands at 1-3.
