New Jersey High School Baseball - Ridgefield Park nips Dumont

The Ridgefield Park Scarlets baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Dumont Huskies to 4 in the Scarlets league win on Wednesday.

The Scarlets now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mahwah for a non-league test on Friday, April 11. Ridgefield Park will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 8-1 league win over Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Dumont drops to 1-5 on the year. The Huskies travel to Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ) to play the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Rams go into the test with a record of 2-3. Ramsey lost 7-6 in their recent league test against Westwood (Washington Township, NJ)
