In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Franklin County Flyers baseball team scored a close 9-2 win over the Hickman County Falcons.
The Flyers (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Cumberland County was overwhelmed by Murray (Murray, KY), 9-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Falcons play the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 10. Hickman County will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 8-3 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY).
