The Norwell Clippers (Norwell, MA) baseball got by the visiting Silver Lake Regional Lakers (Kingston, MA), 9-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Clippers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Marshfield for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2.
With the defeat, Silver Lake Regional drops to 2-7 on the year. The Lakers host Hingham (Hingham, MA) to clash with the Harbormen in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Harbormen go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Hingham won 12-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Plymouth South (Plymouth, MA)
