Virginia High School Softball - Kempsville bounces Princess Anne

In Thursday's league match, the host Kempsville Chiefs softball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Princess Anne Cavaliers.
The Chiefs (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 9-3 record. In their last match, Great Bridge gained a win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 12-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach match, on Tuesday, May 6. Princess Anne will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Stallions go into the match with a 2-12 record after their 17-0 league loss to Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA).
