Connecticut High School Volleyball - New Britain tips Simsbury

May 10, 2022: New Britain, CT 06051

New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Golden Hurricanes battle the Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, May 11. New Britain will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Nor'easters come into the match with a 10-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Maloney (Meriden, CT).

With the loss, Simsbury drops to 8-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Hall (West Hartford, CT) to battle the Warriors in a Central Connecticut - West match on Thursday, May 12. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 6-7. Hall lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Southington (Southington, CT)
