The South Lewis Falcons baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Lowville Red Raiders to 5 in the Falcons league victory on Wednesday.

The Falcons (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Belleville Henderson Central (Belleville, NY). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Belleville Henderson Central nipped Sackets Harbor Central (Sackets Harbor, NY), 12-1, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Lowville falls to 8-5 on the season. The Red raiders travel to Indian River (Philadelphia, NY) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Indian River won 18-8 in their recent non-league challenge against General Brown (Dexter, NY)
