The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hayward Hurricanes (Hayward, WI) and the visiting Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI), saw Hayward's baseball team get by Osceola by a tally of 14-13.

The Hurricanes (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI). The Bulldogs enter the Heart O'North battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser was tipped by Ashland (Ashland, WI), 9-8, in a league battle.

Next, the Chieftains face the Ellsworth Panthers (Ellsworth, WI) in a Middle Border battle, on Tuesday, May 13. Osceola will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 6-10 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Spring Valley (Spring Valley, WI).
