Michigan High School Softball - St. Francis nudges Central Montcalm

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) and the host Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI), saw St. Francis's softball squad nip Central Montcalm by a count of 7-6.
The Gladiators now sport a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kellogg for a non-league match on Saturday, May 13. St. Francis will face a Panthers squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over St. Francis (Traverse City, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Central Montcalm falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Ithaca (Ithaca, MI) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 17. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 14-9.
