The Batesville Bulldogs the visiting South Dearborn Knights baseball team by a count of 8-5 in Monday's league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they host Rushville for a Eastern Indiana bout on Tuesday, May 14. Batesville will face a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Franklin County (Brookville, IN). The Lions record now stands at 7-12.
The Knights (7-15) will now prepare for their match against Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN). The Tigers go into the Eastern Indiana match with a 16-8 record. In their last match, Lawrenceburg by East Central (St. Leon, IN), 11-1, in a league match.
