The Portsmouth Patriots lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the host Cranston West Falcons to 5 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now hold a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Greenwich for a Division 2 challenge on Thursday, May 15. Portsmouth will clash with a Avengers squad coming off a 12-11 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Cranston West falls to 0-12 on the year. The Falcons travel to Prout (Wakefield, RI) to clash with the Crusaders in a Division 2 challenge on Thursday, May 15. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Prout won 17-7 in their recent league challenge against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI)
