New York High School Baseball - Colonie Central defeats Schalmont

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Colonie Central Wolfpack baseball team scored a close 7-1 win over the Schalmont Sabres.
The Wolfpack (11-4) will now prepare for their game against Averill Park (Averill Park, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Averill Park was overwhelmed by Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY), 5-1, in a league game.
Next, the Sabres play the Voorheesville Blackbirds (Voorheesville, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial game, on Thursday, May 15. Schalmont will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Blackbirds go into the game with a 4-11 record after their 10-1 league loss to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY).
