The Jackson County Generals baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Berea Pirates to 2 in the Generals non-league win on Thursday.

The Generals now own a 21-8 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery County for a non-league test on Friday, May 16. Jackson County will play a Indians team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Indians record now stands at 18-12.

With the defeat, Berea drops to 9-9 on the year. The Pirates host Frankfort Christian Academy (Frankfort, KY) to play the Royals in a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. The Royals go into the test with a record of 1-5. Frankfort Christian Academy lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY)
