The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL) and the host Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL), saw Henry-Senachwine's baseball team gain a win over Midwest Central by a tally of 14-3.

The Mallards (9-16) will now prepare for their battle against St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Bruins enter the Tri-County battle with a 24-4 record. In their last battle, St. Bede prevailed over Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL), 14-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Raiders face the Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 16. Midwest Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 24-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Princeville (Princeville, IL).
