Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI) and the visiting Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI), witnessed Providence Country Day's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Burrillville by a count of 9-5.

The Knights (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Taunton (Taunton, MA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Taunton was overwhelmed by Sharon (Sharon, MA), 16-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Broncos meet the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 17. Burrillville will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Chieftains enter the contest with a 8-7 record after their 14-0 league loss to Rogers (Newport, RI).
