Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN), 11-7 in a league test.

The Sabers now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rosemount for a South Suburban test on Tuesday, May 21. Shakopee will face a Irish squad coming off a 11-7 league loss to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Irish record now stands at 4-3.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) in a South Suburban test, on Wednesday, May 22. Lakeville South will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 18-8 non-league win over White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN).
