The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lake Fenton Blue Devils (Linden, MI) and the host St. Louis Sharks (St. Louis, MI), observed Lake Fenton's softball team prevail over St. Louis by a tally of 8-0.
The Blue Devils (27-3) will now prepare for their bout against Beaverton (Beaverton, MI). The Beavers go into the non-league bout with a 4-15 record. In their last bout, Beaverton was routed by Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI), 13-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Sharks clash with the Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 17. St. Louis will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 10-0 league loss to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI).
