In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Chichester Eagles (Boothwyn, PA), by a margin of 14-4.

With the triumph, Sun Valley moves its record to 6-8 on the year. The Vanguards travel to Unionville (Kennett Square, PA) to play the Longhorns in a Ches-Mont contest on Thursday, May 19. The Longhorns come into the contest with a record of 5-10.

In their next game, the Eagles play the Garnet Valley Jaguars (Glen Mills, PA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 19. Chichester will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record.
