Oakridge Eagles (Muskegon, MI) backers left the game pleased Sunday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI), 6-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Oakridge upgrades its record to 16-5 on the year. The Eagles host Ludington (Ludington, MI) to play the Orioles in a Western Michigan game on Tuesday, May 20. The Orioles enter the game with a record of 5-13.

The Bears now own a 19-10 record. They play next when they host Anderson for a Downriver game on Monday, May 19. Roosevelt will play a Titans squad coming off a 18-4 non-league win over Clarenceville (Livonia, MI). The Titans record now stands at 17-11.
