In Friday's league contest, the Poland Knights (Poland, ME) softball team overwhelmed the host Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME), by a margin of 11-0.
With the triumph, Poland moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Knights travel to York (York, ME) to play the Wildcats in a Class B South contest on Monday, May 22. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 12-1. York won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Lake Region (Naples, ME)
In their next game, the Clippers play the Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 23. Yarmouth will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 10-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Bangor (Bangor, ME).
