Illinois High School Baseball - Schaumburg defeats Prospect

The Schaumburg Saxons baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Prospect Knights to 4 in the Saxons league win on Monday.

The Saxons now own a 9-22 record. They take the field next when they host Buffalo Grove for a non-league test on Thursday, May 22. Schaumburg will play a Bison team coming off a 10-4 league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Bison record now stands at 9-21.

With the defeat, Prospect drops to 19-10 on the year. The Knights travel to Barrington (Barrington, IL) to play the Fillies/Broncos in a non-league test on Thursday, May 22. The Fillies/Broncos go into the test with a record of 20-9. Barrington won 3-0 in their recent league test against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL)
