With the triumph, Maryville Christian moves its record to 13-10 on the season. The Lions travel to New Athens (New Athens, IL) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 21. The Yellow Jackets come into the contest with a record of 14-12.
