The Lordsburg Mavericks got by the visiting Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers softball squad by a final score of 8-7 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Mavericks (11-13) will now prepare for their battle against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The SonBlazers go into the A/2A District 3 battle with a 10-9 record.
