The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) and the host Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA), saw Lenox's baseball team gain a win over Wayne by a tally of 13-3.

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA). The Crusaders enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Coon Rapids-Bayard prevailed over Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA), 6-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Falcons face the Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA) in a Pride of Iowa battle, on Friday, May 30. Wayne will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 19-4 league loss to Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA).
