Montana High School Softball - Lincoln County holds off Thompson Falls

May 4, 2023: Eureka, MT 59917

Lincoln County Lions (Eureka, MT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Thompson Falls Blue Hawks (Thompson Falls, MT), 7-5 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Plains-Hot Springs for a Western B North challenge on Friday, May 5. Lincoln County will battle a Horsemen squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Powell County (Deer Lodge, MT). The Horsemen record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Thompson Falls falls to 3-1 on the campaign.
