In Thursday's league game, the host Lakeshore Lancers baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants.
The Lancers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, Hudsonville tipped East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI), 7-3, in a league game.
