The St. John Paul II Lions baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Sturgis East Storm to 2 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.
The Lions (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Rising Tide (Plymouth, MA). The go into the Cape & Islands match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Rising Tide tipped Cape Cod RVT (Harwich, MA), 15-5, in a league match.
The Storm (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Sturgis West (Hyannis, MA). The Navigators go into the Cape & Islands match with a 1-4 record.
