The Michigan City Wolves crushed the host East Chicago Central Cardinals baseball team by a count of 22-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Wolves now possess a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they host Valparaiso for a Duneland bout on Tuesday, May 9.

Next, the Cardinals face the Bowman Academy Eagles (Gary, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 8. East Chicago Central will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 4-7 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN).
