Illinois High School Lacrosse - Lake Forest nips Crystal Lake Central

In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Lake Forest Scouts lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 triumph over the Crystal Lake Central Tigers.
The Scouts (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs go into the North Suburban challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Mundelein was nipped by Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 11-8, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Wednesday, May 7. Crystal Lake Central will attempt to better on its 13-1 season record. The Whip-Purs go into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Streamwood (Streamwood, IL).
