Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) and the host Ludlow Panthers (Ludlow, KY), witnessed Dixie Heights's baseball team gain a win over Ludlow by a score of 12-7.
The Colonels (16-8) will now prepare for their match against St. Henry (Erlanger, KY). The Crusaders go into the District 34 match with a 8-14 record. In their last match, St. Henry was overwhelmed by Trinity (Louisville, KY), 5-2, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (10-16) will now prepare for their match against Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 15-10 record.
