Ohio High School Softball - Newton Local bounces National Trail

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH) and the visiting National Trail Blazers (New Paris, OH), observed Newton Local's softball team get by National Trail by a final score of 13-7.
The Indians (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Arcanum (Arcanum, OH). The Trojans go into the Western Ohio Athletic bout with a 17-6 record. In their last bout, Arcanum tipped Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH), 3-2, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Blazers battle the Union City Indians (Union City, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 7. National Trail will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to South Adams (Berne, IN).
